Our University Becomes an Overseas Teaching Practice Base for Doctoral Students of Siam University, Thailand

On January 9, a delegation of four from Siam University, Thailand, led by Zhang Li, Assistant President of Siam University and Dean of the College of Innovation, visited our university. The two sides exchanged views on talent cultivation and cooperative programs and officially signed an agreement on the "Overseas Teaching Practice Base for Doctoral Students," marking a new phase of international cooperation between the two institutions.

During the visit, representatives from our university, including Feng Zhijie, Assistant President and Director of the Academic Affairs Office, Xie Haijun, Assistant President and Dean of the Business School, and Qiao Shibao, Director of the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation, received the delegation and participated in the discussions. In the conference room of the Daide Building, the two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on programs such as "undergraduate-to-master's degree programs" and jointly envisioned prospects for multi-level educational cooperation in the future.

At the subsequent signing ceremony, Dean Zhang Li and Director Feng Zhijie signed the cooperation agreement on behalf of their respective universities. According to the agreement, Siam University, Thailand, will regularly select outstanding doctoral students to participate in teaching practice and scientific research activities at our university, further deepening the integration of talent cultivation and academic exchange between the two institutions.

After the signing, Dean Zhang Li, on behalf of Siam University, presented a letter of appointment as a doctoral supervisor to Professor Xie Haijun, officially inviting him to participate in the doctoral training programs of Siam University.

On the same day, the delegation from Siam University also held an information session for students of our Business School on master's degree programs in Thailand. They provided detailed introductions to the curriculum, admission requirements, and study abroad support policies, offering practical information and a communication platform for students to broaden their international study options.
