On January 3rd, the final of the 3rd Shandong Provincial College Students' Career Planning Competition at Qingdao Binhai University came to a successful close. Since the launch of the competition, more than 20,000 students across the university have participated enthusiastically. After going through departmental selections and university-level evaluations, 61 contestants stood out and advanced to the university-level final.

The final was divided into two parallel tracks – Employment Track and Growth Track, which were held simultaneously at the Auditorium of Xiaozhushan Campus and the Lecture Hall of the Central Library respectively. The competition invited a number of senior enterprise professionals, including Chen Zhaoyang, Chairman of Shandong Shuimu Tongmeng Enterprise Management Consulting Co., Ltd., together with professional teachers from the university's School of Marxism, Admissions and Employment Office, School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education and other departments, to form the judging panel. They conducted a comprehensive evaluation of the contestants from the dual perspectives of social demand and education training.

During the competition, the contestants fully demonstrated their in-depth understanding of the professional world, career planning capabilities and personal demeanor by systematically elaborating their career goals, clearly presenting their planning paths, and responding to the judges' questions calmly and confidently. The judges made detailed evaluations based on multiple dimensions, such as the feasibility of career goals, the scientificity of development paths, on-site performance, and adaptability. At present, the rankings of each track have been initially determined, and the final list of winners will be officially announced after a comprehensive review of the contestants' materials.

Career planning serves as a crucial bridge connecting academic studies and employment. This competition not only provided a platform for students to explore career options and showcase their abilities, but also further deepened the school-enterprise collaborative education mechanism. It is an important measure for the university to promote career education and support the all-round development of students.
