Qingdao Binhai University’s rope skipping team delivered a commanding performance at the 2025 2nd Qingdao Collegiate Rope Skipping Competition, winning ten of the twelve events and clinching the overall team championship. The event concluded on December 6 at Qingdao University of Technology.  

The competition brought together top athletes from dozens of universities across the city. Under the guidance of coaches Li Shuyuan and Fan Xiaowei, the Binhai team excelled across all categories, earning eight gold, five silver, and two bronze medals in individual events, along with two golds in team competitions—a dominant showcase of their competitive strength.  

This achievement reflects the university’s commitment to physical education and its promotion of a culture of self-motivated fitness. The campus supports this ethos with modern facilities, including an indoor sports complex and a heated swimming pool, and offers a wide array of physical education courses. Furthermore, through events such as the annual campus group dance competition, Qingdao Binhai University provides students with extensive opportunities to engage in sports and enhance their athletic skills.
