On November 27th, the inaugural meeting of the Think Tank of the Intelligent Elderly Care Professional Committee of Qingdao Health Technology Association was held at Huizhi Garden. Focusing on the demand for the high-quality development of the elderly care industry, the conference officially established a professional think tank platform. Professor Li Xiuyan from Qingdao Binhai University was successfully elected as one of the first experts of the think tank.

As an important link connecting academic research and industrial practice, the Elderly Care Think Tank aims to gather professional wisdom from all walks of life, provide high-quality intellectual support for the policy formulation, standardization, technological innovation and talent training of the regional elderly care industry, and contribute to the construction of Healthy Qingdao and the upgrading of the elderly care industry.

The selection and review of the first batch of experts were rigorous, and the selected experts are all industry elites who have been deeply engaged in the elderly care field with solid professional foundation and rich practical experience. Professor Li Xiuyan's successful election is not only a high recognition of her research achievements and professional capabilities in the elderly care field, but also an effective reflection of the achievements of Qingdao Binhai University in the construction of elderly care disciplines, talent training and social services.
In the future, relying on the dual platforms of the Shandong Health Nursing Research Center and the Qingdao Health and Elderly Care Think Tank, Professor Li Xiuyan will deeply participate in the discussion on cutting-edge issues in the big health and elderly care industry, actively explore practical paths, strive to promote the accurate connection between university academic resources and industry development needs, and inject the wisdom and strength of universities into the standardization and high-quality development of the regional elderly care industry.
