Hosted by China's Ministry of Education and co-organized by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation (CLEC) of the Ministry of Education, China International Chinese Education Foundation, and the International Society for Chinese Language Teaching, the 2025 World Chinese Language Conference was held in Beijing from November 14 to 16. Nearly 2,000 participants attended, including representatives from education authorities, Chinese and foreign universities, and diplomatic envoys in China, hailing from over 160 countries and regions worldwide.
The course HSK5 Reading Express, co-developed by Qingdao Binhai University and the Russian Media Plus Online Chinese Classroom, won the "Golden Course" Award in the 2025 Global Chinese Language Alliance Digital & Intelligent Teaching "Gold Medal" Program Selection.

Co-taught by teachers Xu Baoyun and Gao Qun from the same school, the course HSK5 Reading Express closely focuses on the needs of international students in China to improve their Chinese proficiency. Adhering to the international Chinese education philosophy of "Enlightening Teaching with Intelligence, Promoting Communication through Dissemination, and Achieving Application through Integration," the course integrates the university's faculty achievements in digital and intelligent international Chinese teaching, providing an efficient and systematic advanced program for intermediate and advanced Chinese learners.
This award highlights Qingdao Binhai University's outstanding advantages in the field of international Chinese education, especially in the Teaching R&D and application of digital and intelligent teaching. It is a concentrated reflection of the university's achievements in scientific research innovation and international school-running.

The theme of the 2025 World Chinese Language Conference is "Innovation-Led, Digital & Intelligent Empowerment – Bringing Chinese Closer to the World." As a key component of the conference, the Global Chinese Language Alliance Digital & Intelligent Teaching "Gold Medal" Program Selection is an authentication and promotion activity for teaching achievements in the field of international Chinese education. It aims to discover, select, and commend benchmark projects and teams that have achieved remarkable results in Chinese language education. Focusing on the theme of "digital and intelligent teaching" this year, the selection covers four major categories: courses, teachers, tools, and application cases. The "Golden Course" Award represents the highest recognition for curriculum design, integration of digital and intelligent technologies, and application effectiveness.
