Zhai Mingge Visits Vyatka State University of Russia

To further deepen the exchange and cooperation between Chinese and Russian universities and expand the international school-running path of our university, on October 15, Vice President Zhai Mingge of Qingdao Binhai University and his delegation visited Vyatka State University of Russia at the invitation.

Sergei Fomin, Vice President for International Affairs of Vyatka State University, warmly welcomed the delegation's visit. During the exchange, he stated that the two universities have natural cooperation alignments in discipline setting and talent cultivation. Educational exchange is an important driving force for promoting the joint development of universities. He expressed the expectation that this visit will serve as an opportunity to strengthen the cooperation between the two universities and build more exchange platforms for teachers and students.

Zhai Mingge gave a detailed introduction to the development achievements of Qingdao Binhai University. He mentioned that since its establishment in 1992, the university has been deeply engaged in multiple fields such as engineering, medicine, economics, management and art, and has cultivated more than 140,000 professional talents for the society. Currently, the number of full-time students exceeds 25,000. He stated that the university has always attached importance to exchanges and cooperation with overseas universities, and hopes that through this visit, practical cooperation between the two universities in academic exchanges, talent cultivation and other aspects will be promoted.

After the meeting, Zhai Mingge and his delegation visited the campus, laboratories and other places.

Olga Rublyova, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology of Vyatka State University, Anton Fominekh, Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering, and staff of the International Office, together with Dai Jingjie, Dean of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering of our university, and Wang Hao, a teacher from the School of Arts and Sciences Foundation, accompanied the exchange.
