Recently, the 8th National Digital Creative Teaching Skills Competition concluded successfully. Qingdao Binhai University won 4 first prizes and 1 third prize, with the number of first prizes ranking first in Shandong Province and second in China.

The National Digital Creative Teaching Skills Competition is a competition listed in the National College Teachers' Teaching Competition List released by the Higher Education Association. It is included in the Analysis Report on National College Teachers' Teaching Competitions of the Chinese Association of Higher Education under the Ministry of Education. Focusing on the reform of educational digitalization, the competition promotes the in-depth integration of art education and intelligent technology, and builds a new model for the innovative development of higher education. A total of 5,620 teachers from 574 universities, including Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, Harbin Institute of Technology, Jilin University, and Tongji University, participated in the competition. The competition received 4,581 works, and finally 479 works were shortlisted for the national competition, including 351 works from universities and 128 works from higher vocational colleges. This year's competition adopted the offline defense format for the first time to compete for the national competition.

Li Dandan, Zheng Linan, Huang Xiaolei, Yu Miao, and Huang Rui, five teachers from the School of Art and Media of Qingdao Binhai University, won 4 first prizes and 1 third prize in the national competition with their solid teaching skills and innovative practices. Among all the award-winning universities, the number of first prizes of this university ranks first in Shandong Province and second in China.

Li Dandan, the winner of the first prize, said, "Starting from the curriculum design, the team has focused on the concept of 'digital intelligence empowerment' and deeply integrated art education with intelligent technology. During the course recording and preliminary preparation stage, we polished the teaching innovation report repeatedly; before the semi-final defense, we carefully made PPTs, rehearsed the teaching speeches, and adjusted the teaching demeanor. The first prize is not only a recognition of our teaching strength, but also the result of team collaboration."

In recent years, Qingdao Binhai University has seized the opportunity of the national educational digitalization strategy, explored the promotion of teaching innovation driven by digital intelligence empowerment, and incubated teaching achievements with both creative and practical value through the model of "promoting teaching and research through competitions", so as to expand the path for the cultivation of art talents in the digital age.
