Recently, the list of winners of the 15th National Green Building Design Competition was officially announced. Qingdao Binhai University ranked 10th among universities nationwide, and Gao Xiaojing, a teacher from the university, won the First Prize of National Outstanding Teacher.

As an authoritative national competition, the National Green Building Design Competition has been held since 2010. A total of 315 domestic and foreign architectural colleges and design institutions have participated in the competition, with 19,762 entries submitted. This year's competition was hosted by Shenzhen Shenlv Architectural Design Co., Ltd., and co-organized by Hainan Lvyan Architectural Technology Co., Ltd., Hunan Yingren Architectural Design Co., Ltd., and 14 well-known domestic universities including Dalian University of Technology, Northeastern University, and Chongqing University. It covers multiple professional fields such as architectural design, urban planning, and civil engineering.

In the national university ranking, a total of three universities in Shandong Province entered the top 10 nationwide, and Qingdao Binhai University was one of them. It is also the only private university in the province that entered the top 10 nationwide, ranking 10th. The other two universities that ranked among the top 10 are Shandong Jianzhu University and University of Jinan. In addition, Gao Xiaojing, a teacher from Qingdao Binhai University, won the "First Prize of National Outstanding Teacher", and only 25 people nationwide won this award.
