Recently, the 15th National University Students E-Commerce “Innovation, Creativity & Entrepreneurship” Challenge concluded successfully. Three teams from our university, composed of students majoring in E-Commerce and International Economics and Trade, namely the “Super Mario Team”, “Persistent Walker Team” and “Rural Revitalization Pioneer Team”, won the National First Prize in the Live E-Commerce Practical Competition, National Second Prize in the New Retail E-Commerce Practical Competition, and National Second Prize in the Rural Revitalization Practical Competition respectively.
Sponsored by Teaching Advisory Committee for E-Commerce Majors in Higher Education Institutions under the Ministry of Education, the “Innovation, Creativity & Entrepreneurship” Challenge is a national university discipline competition divided into regular competitions and practical competitions. As one of the most influential Grade-A discipline competitions officially recognized by the Ministry of Education, it aims to stimulate university students' interests and potential, and cultivate their innovative awareness, creative thinking, entrepreneurial ability as well as team collaboration. This achievement demonstrates the new results of the continuous reform and innovation in the talent cultivation model of the Business School of our university. It is worth noting that the “Super Mario Team” advanced to the national competition with the Special Prize in the provincial competition of the Live E-Commerce Practical Competition of the “Innovation, Creativity & Entrepreneurship” Challenge.
“For a long time, the teaching team has centered on the university’s educational philosophy of 'promoting teaching and learning through competitions,' deepening and refining a distinctive cultivation system. These measures have provided precise support for our participation in the competition, which is an important reason for achieving good results. We are very happy to win the award and will work harder to achieve greater achievements,” said Jin Faqi, the instructor of the “Super Mario Team”.
