Professor Wang Zuankai from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University Visits Qingdao Binhai University

On April 10, Professor Wang Zuankai, Associate Vice President of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Academician of the Hong Kong Academy of Engineering Sciences, visited Qingdao Binhai University for a research and exchange session. He was accompanied by He Jiongtian, Director of the Talent Recruitment Center of the West Coast New Area. The exchange meeting was attended by Han Xiaomeng, Executive Vice President of Qingdao Binhai University, and Li Zhenjiang, Vice President of the university.

During the meeting, Han Xiaomeng introduced the university's development history, educational features, and future planning. Professor Wang Zuankai expressed high appreciation for Binhai University's educational characteristics, strengths, and recent achievements. He also introduced the basic situation of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and shared updates on his recent academic work and research.

The two parties conducted in-depth discussions on proposed cooperation between The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Qingdao Binhai University in areas such as talent exchange and training, discipline development, joint construction of scientific research platforms, and deeper collaboration between academia and industry. They reached a consensus on strengthening university-enterprise connections, accelerating research transformation, supporting the local economy, and achieving organic integration of education, talent, industry, and innovation chains.

Participants from Qingdao Binhai University included Wang Tiantian, Director of the Human Resources Department; Wang Dongdong, Director of the Scientific Research Department; Qiao Shibao, Director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Department; and Dai Jingjie, Dean of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
