On April 12, 2025, the HSK  was successfully conducted at Qingdao Binhai University. The examination covered four different levels, including HSK Level 4, HSK Level 5, as well as the HSKK Intermediate and Advanced Levels.

The HSK is an international standardized test for Chinese language proficiency, primarily assessing the ability of non-native Chinese speakers to use the language in everyday life, academic, and professional settings. The HSK consists of six levels (HSK Level 1 to Level 6) and is held regularly both within China and overseas. Candidates who meet the required standards will receive the corresponding Chinese Proficiency Certificate.

Since 2007, Qingdao Binhai University has been designated as an HSK test center, becoming the fourth such center approved by relevant national authorities in Shandong Province.
